SMART INSTALLATION PRINCIPLES

The metal slat is mounted on a horizontal grid, which can be made of wood—using self-drilling screws for wood fixing—or on a rectangular iron pipe, using self-drilling screws for metal fixing. For slats with lengths of up to 1.7 m, at least three horizontal supports will be used, and for lengths of 2 m, four horizontal supports are required. The horizontal supports are fixed to the fence posts.

Screw calculation:

  • For slats up to 1.7 m long, fixed on 3 horizontal supports, use 3 screws* for each slat.
  • For slats up to 2 m long, fixed on 4 horizontal supports, use 4 screws* for each slat.

Make sure to order the correct type of screw depending on the support material: for wood or for metal.
